Esterhazy Gravel Quest - Long Course

This course is truly one of the best gravel routes in southern Saskatchewan.  Designed by experienced local cyclists, it showcases the rolling terrain of the eastern Qu’Appelle Valley, made even more stunning by the vibrant autumn colors.

The long course kicks off at the Rainbow hall just south of Esterhazy, Saskatchewan, before heading south to incorporate sections of the short course. Along the way, riders will pause at a stunning viewpoint overlooking the Qu’Appelle Valley’s rugged beauty. Keep an eye out for historic landmarks such as the infamous Cruel School, and Rainbow Hall, as well as the mysterious shack tucked away in the bush—could it be a hunting cabin or a secret hideout?

The ever-changing terrain will keep you engaged, with punchy inclines reaching 7% as you weave through prairie switchbacks. At kilometer 9 and 33, the group will stop at a well-stocked feed zone featuring Gruppo Nutrition hydration products and snacks to keep you energized.  A third stop is possible at Birds Point which arrives at kilometer 68.

One thing is certain—you’re going to love this adventure!
